Hello and welcome to my page!

I first came upon Jacob Holdt's 'American Pictures', searching through the internet late one night, when I was just 14 years old and it left a very strong impression on me which still stirs my imagination today. The Shocking nature, yet beauty of his photos captivated me. The subjects, Suburbs, back roads, fields and urban Slums seen through the haze of his 1970's camera lens seem so far away from our current world of digital mass production.
Anyway, I suspect those who are reading this will know American Pictures well and have their own attachment to the matter so I will cut a long story short.
Using various sources I have been tracking down the exact location of many photos and this is purely what this blog is based upon, however, these are not official and should not be taken for fact! Hopefully, people will find it of interest and if anyone can help, please give me a shout.

All the best, Robbie
